Nabertherm Gas Supply System 1 (Basic) for Non-Flammable Gases
Nabertherm Gas Supply System 1 is a basic, non-gas-tight solution for operating static tube furnaces with non-flammable gases (N2, Ar, He). Includes porous fiber plugs and a flow meter panel. Compatible with RD, R, RT, and RHTC series.
The Nabertherm Gas Supply System 1 is the “Made in Germany” basic solution for operating static tube furnaces under non-flammable process gases. It is designed for applications that require a specific atmosphere (such as N2, Ar, He, Air, or Forming Gas*) but do **not** require a vacuum or a perfectly gas-tight seal.
This system modifies your standard tube furnace by replacing the standard end plugs with two **porous, non-classified ceramic fiber plugs** that have integrated protective gas connections. The gas is fed through a gas panel equipped with a flow meter and shut-off valve, allowing you to purge the tube and maintain a positive pressure of non-flammable gas.
Standard Equipment:
- Basic Atmosphere Control: Designed for operation with non-flammable gases (Nitrogen, Argon, Helium, Air, Forming Gas*).
- Standard Tube Compatibility: Works with the standard working tube supplied with your furnace; no separate gas-tight tube is required.
- Gas Connection Plugs: Includes two porous ceramic fiber plugs with protective gas connections.
- Gas Panel: Includes a gas panel for one gas type, featuring a flow meter with a manual valve and a shut-off valve.
- Simple Operation: Requires a gas supply with 300 mbar pressure.
*Note: Country-specific regulations for permissible mixture ratios (e.g., forming gas) must be observed. This system is NOT gas-tight and cannot be used for vacuum operation.
You can upgrade the basic Gas Supply System 1 to handle multiple gases or automate the process flow.
Available Options & Accessories:
- Automatic Switching: A magnetic valve can be added for automatic, segment-related switching (on/off) of the gas flow via the furnace controller.
- Multiple Gases: Additional gas panels can be added for mixing or switching between further non-flammable gases.
- Bottle Pressure Reducer: Essential for safely connecting the system to high-pressure bottled gas sources.
