Nabertherm Vacuum Packages for Tube Furnaces
Nabertherm Vacuum Packages enable vacuum operation in tube furnaces. Available with rotary vane pumps (down to 5 x 10-2 mbar) or turbomolecular pumps (down to 5 x 10-5 mbar). Requires a gas-tight Gas Supply System (15, 2, 25, 26).
Enable vacuum operation in your “Made in Germany” tube furnace with the **Nabertherm Vacuum Package**. This comprehensive system allows you to evacuate the working tube for processes requiring low pressure or a defined atmosphere.
The package connects to the gas outlet of your furnace via a corrugated stainless steel hose. It includes all necessary components: an intermediate connection piece, a ball valve, a pressure gauge, and a high-quality manual vacuum pump. **Important:** To use this package, your furnace must be equipped with a **gas-tight gas supply system** (System 15, 2, 25, or 26). The pump is designed for cold-stage evacuation to protect it, but it can remain switched on during the program.
Available Vacuum Pump Options:
- Single-Stage Rotary Vane Pump: An economical solution for basic vacuum needs. Achievable ultimate pressure: approx. **20 mbar**.
- Two-Stage Rotary Vane Pump: A more powerful pump for deeper vacuum applications. Achievable ultimate pressure: approx. **5 x 10-2 mbar**.
- Turbomolecular Pump System: The high-performance choice. Consists of a diaphragm pump with a downstream turbomolecular pump for ultra-high vacuum. Achievable ultimate pressure: approx. **5 x 10-5 mbar**. (Note: Not compatible with System 15, RSRB, or RSRC models).
The Vacuum Package is an add-on for Nabertherm’s gas supply systems. Ensure you have the correct prerequisite equipment.
Required Prerequisites:
Your tube furnace must be equipped with one of the following gas-tight systems to use the vacuum package:
- Gas Supply System 15 (Standard gas-tight, no water cooling)
- Gas Supply System 2 (Water-cooled flanges for high vacuum)
- Gas Supply System 25 (For Batch Rotary Furnaces)
- Gas Supply System 26 (For Continuous Rotary Furnaces)
