Nabertherm Gas Supply Systems 25 & 26 for Rotary Tube Furnaces (Gas-Tight)
Nabertherm Gas Supply Systems 25 and 26 are specialized gas-tight solutions for Rotary Tube Furnaces. System 25 fits RSRB (Batch) models with rotary lead-outs. System 26 fits RSRC (Continuous) models. Allows operation with non-flammable gases (N2, Ar) or vacuum.
The Nabertherm Rotary Gas Supply Systems 25 and 26 are advanced, “Made in Germany” solutions designed specifically for **Rotary Tube Furnaces**. Unlike static furnaces, rotary furnaces require specialized engineering to maintain a gas-tight seal while the tube is in motion. These systems allow you to operate under defined non-flammable gas atmospheres (N2, Ar, He, Air, Forming Gas*) or vacuum.
System 25 (For Batch Operation – RSRB)
Designed for the **RSRB Series**. This system includes sophisticated **gas-tight rotary lead-outs** on both the gas inlet and outlet to maintain the seal during rotation. It also features a **gas cooler** at the outlet to protect downstream components and a check valve to prevent air ingress.
System 26 (For Continuous Operation – RSRC)
Designed for the **RSRC Series**. This system allows for continuous processing under gas. Note: To use System 26, the RSRC furnace must also be equipped with the optional “Feeding System” to seal the material entry point.
Standard Equipment for Nabertherm Rotary Gas Supply:
- Gas Panel: Includes a panel for one non-flammable process gas with shut-off valve and flow meter.
- Rotary Sealing: Specialized gas-tight rotary lead-outs (System 25).
- Safety: Includes a check valve at the outlet to prevent back-flow of air.
- Gas Cooler: Integrated gas cooler at the outlet (System 25) to protect exhaust systems.
- Supply Requirement: Requires a gas supply pressure of 300 mbar.
*Note: Country-specific regulations for permissible mixture ratios (e.g., forming gas) must be observed.
