Nabertherm Muffle Furnaces up to 1400 °C
The Nabertherm 1400C Muffle Furnace (L & LT Series) offers high performance and rapid heat-up times. Featuring “Made in Germany” quality, heating elements on support tubes for free heat radiation, and a standard B510 controller. Ideal for demanding lab applications.
For demanding laboratory applications requiring higher temperatures, the Nabertherm 1400C Muffle Furnace (L and LT series) is the ideal solution. These models are a perfect alternative to the standard 1200 °C furnaces when your process requires an extra thermal reserve. Engineered and “Made in Germany”, these furnaces are defined by their advanced and reliable design.
The key feature of this series is the high-performance heating from two sides. The heating elements are mounted on durable support tubes, which allows them to radiate heat freely into the furnace chamber. This results in exceptionally short heating times and a long service life. The dual-shell stainless steel housing and fan cooling ensure a low external surface temperature.
Key Features of Your Nabertherm 1400C Muffle Furnace:
- “Made in Germany” Quality: Engineered and manufactured for maximum reliability and process stability.
- High Tmax: 1400 °C maximum operating temperature (Recommended working temperature is 1300 °C for long dwells).
- High-Performance Heating: Heating elements on support tubes for free heat radiation and fast heat-up.
- Door Options: Available as a standard flap door (L models) that can be used as a work platform, or a space-saving lift door (LT models) with the hot surface facing away from the operator.
- Advanced Insulation: Uses only high-quality, non-categorized fiber insulation (RCF-free).
- Dual Shell Housing: Textured stainless steel housing with additional fan cooling for a low surface temperature.
- Venting System: Includes an adjustable air inlet integrated in the door and an exhaust air outlet in the rear wall.
- Advanced Controller: Standard B510 controller (5 programs, 4 segments) with a clear touch-screen display.
- Quiet Operation: Uses solid-state relays for low-noise heating operations.
- Data Recording: Includes NTLog Basic for recording process data via a USB flash drive.
Customize your Nabertherm 1400C Muffle Furnace to perfectly match your laboratory’s specific processes with a wide range of optional equipment.
Available Options & Accessories:
- Exhaust & Venting: Upgrade your ventilation with an exhaust chimney, a chimney with an integrated fan, or a catalytic converter for processing materials that produce strong odors or fumes.
- Over-Temperature Limiter: A critical safety feature (thermal protection class 2) with an adjustable cutout temperature to protect the furnace and your valuable load during unattended operation.
- Protective Gas Connection: A connection to purge the furnace with non-flammable protective or reactive gases (Note: this option is not gas-tight and cannot be combined with chimney options).
- Gas Supply Systems: Available as manual or fully automatic gas supply systems.
- Process Control Software: Integrate your furnace with the powerful VCD software for comprehensive, PC-based process control, monitoring, and documentation.
