Nabertherm Chamber Furnaces with Brick Insulation or Fiber Insulation up to 1400 °C
The Nabertherm LH/LF Chamber Furnaces are professional “Made in Germany” units for processes up to 1400 °C. They feature powerful **5-sided heating** for superior uniformity. Choose from **LH (light refractory brick)** or **LF (fiber insulation)** models. A SiC floor plate and B500 controller are standard.
The Nabertherm LH and LF Chamber Furnaces have been trusted for many years as the professional, “Made in Germany” standard for the laboratory. These furnaces are available with your choice of two insulation types: **LH models** feature a robust, multi-layered insulation of light refractory bricks, while **LF models** use a combination of refractory bricks and low heat-storage fiber insulation for faster heating and cooling.
Furthermore, these furnaces are designed for unparalleled temperature uniformity. They feature **five-sided heating** (from all four sides and the bottom) and a special SiC plate in the floor to protect the bottom elements and provide a flat stacking surface. With a wide range of optional equipment, you can optimally adapt these chamber furnaces to your specific process.
Standard Equipment:
Every LH/LF furnace includes a premium set of standard features:
- “Made in Germany” Quality: Engineered for professional laboratory processes.
- Max Temperature: Available in 1200 °C, 1300 °C, or 1400 °C versions.
- Five-Sided Heating: Provides for very good temperature uniformity throughout the chamber.
- Durable Heating: Heating elements are mounted on support tubes, ensuring free heat radiation and a long service life.
- SiC Floor Plate: Protects the bottom heating and provides a flat stacking surface.
- Insulation Choice: LH (brick) or LF (fiber/brick) models. All insulation is RCF-free (non-carcinogenic).
- Robust Door: Features a hand-fitted, brick-on-brick seal.
- Advanced Venting: Includes a motorized exhaust air flap and a freely adjustable air inlet in the furnace floor.
- Standard Safety Feature: Comes standard with an over-temperature limiter to protect the furnace and load.
- Advanced Controller: Comes standard with the B500 controller (5 programs, 4 segments), which is removable for comfortable operation.
- Data Recording: Includes NTLog Basic for recording process data via a USB flash drive.
- Base Frame: The furnace is delivered with a base frame included.
You can upgrade your Nabertherm LH or LF furnace with a wide range of optional “Made in Germany” equipment for advanced processes and automation.
Available Options & Accessories:
- Advanced Door Systems:
- Parallel Swinging Door: Swings the hot door face away from the operator for increased safety.
- Lift Door: An electro-mechanic linear drive for easy, automated opening, even when hot.
- Process & Atmosphere Control:
- Advanced Cooling: A fan system to cool the furnace with a defined temperature gradient.
- Protective Gas Connection: For purging the furnace with non-flammable process gases.
- Gas Supply Systems: Available as manual or fully automatic systems.
- Integrated Scale: A scale system to measure weight reduction during the annealing process.
- Venting & Documentation:
- Exhaust Hood: A stainless steel exhaust hood to interface with your facility’s exhaust system.
