Nabertherm Forced Convection Chamber Furnaces up to 675 Liters (NA Series)
The Nabertherm Forced Convection Chamber Furnace (NA Series) is a heavy-duty “Made in Germany” oven for industrial heat treatment. Available in sizes up to 675 Liters and Tmax of 450°C, 650°C, or 850°C, it offers high-performance forced air for +/- 4°C uniformity. Advanced options include AMS2750H/CQI-9 compliance.
The Nabertherm Forced Convection Chamber Furnaces (NA Series) are “Made in Germany” and designed for high-performance industrial processes. Their very high temperature uniformity (up to +/- 4 °C) provides ideal conditions for complex applications like annealing, curing, solution annealing, artificial ageing, sintering of PTFE, preheating, or soft annealing and brazing.
Consequently, these furnaces are built for robust, continuous use. They feature high-performance horizontal air circulation, which ensures optimal heat distribution through stainless steel baffles. Moreover, the modular design allows for extensive customization with accessories to meet your specific process requirements.
Standard Equipment:
Every NA series furnace includes a comprehensive set of “Made in Germany” features:
- Max Temperature: Available in 450 °C, 650 °C, or 850 °C versions.
- High Uniformity: Achieves temperature uniformity up to +/− 4 °C (as per DIN 17052-1).
- High Air Flow: Optimum air distribution enabled by high flow speeds for fast processing.
- Floor-Standing Design: Includes a base frame as standard.
- Standard Safety Feature: Includes an over-temperature limiter with an adjustable cutout temperature to protect the furnace and load.
- RCF-Free Insulation: Exclusive use of high-quality, non-carcinogenic insulation materials.
- Durable Housing: Dual-shell ventilated housing made of textured stainless steel for low surface temperatures.
- Standard Controller: Comes with the B500 controller (5 programs, 4 segments).
- Quiet Operation: Uses solid-state relays for low-noise heating.
- Data & Software: Includes NTLog Basic for USB data recording, plus freeware NTEdit (Excel) and NTGraph for PC, and the MyNabertherm App for mobile monitoring.
You can upgrade your Nabertherm NA furnace to a highly specialized system for advanced industrial processes, including AMS2750H or CQI-9 compliance for the 850 °C models.
Additional Equipment for 450 °C Models
- Drying Options: Air inlet and exhaust air flaps for efficient drying processes.
- Fast Cooling: A controlled cooling system with a fan and motorized flaps.
- Gas Supply: Various gas supply boxes and feed fittings for different charging methods.
- Process Control Software: Integrate your furnace with the VCD software package for comprehensive, PC-based process control, monitoring, and documentation.
Further Additional Equipment for 850 °C Models
- AMS/CQI-9 Compliance: A full upgrade package to meet the stringent quality requirements of AMS2750H (aerospace) or CQI-9 (automotive).
- Enhanced Uniformity: Optimization of temperature uniformity up to +/− 3 °C.
- TUS Measurement: Measuring frames and thermocouples for Temperature Uniformity Surveys (TUS) or charge measurements.
- Lift Door: A manual lift door (for NA 120 models) or a pneumatic lift door (for NA 250 and larger) is available.
- Roller Conveyor: A manual roller conveyor in the furnace chamber to handle high charge weights.
- Process Control Software: Integration with the VCD software package.
