





Nabertherm Chamber Ovens (KTR Series) 260 °C
The Nabertherm Chamber Ovens (KTR Series) are “Made in Germany” for complex drying and heat treatment up to 260 °C. Featuring high-performance **forced air circulation** for +/- 5 °C uniformity, a stainless steel chamber, and a B500 controller. A wide range of accessories (gas, clean room, etc.) are available.
The Nabertherm Chamber Ovens (KTR Series) provide “Made in Germany” solutions for complex drying processes and large-scale heat treatment up to 260 °C. Nabertherm engineers these ovens for heavy-duty use. Consequently, they feature high-performance horizontal forced air circulation that enables optimum temperature uniformity (better than +/- 5 °C) throughout the entire workspace.
Nabertherm builds the KTR series for durability. For example, the chamber uses high-quality, easy-to-clean 304 (1.4301) stainless steel. Moreover, the robust, high-quality mineral wool insulation provides for outer surface temperatures less than 25 °C above room temperature. A wide range of accessories also allows you to modify these ovens for your specific process requirements.
Standard Equipment:
Every KTR oven includes a comprehensive set of features as standard:
- “Made in Germany” Quality: Engineered for industrial drying, sterilizing, and warm storing.
- Max Temperature: 260 °C.
- High Uniformity: Horizontal forced air circulation provides uniformity better than +/- 5 °C (as per DIN 17052-1).
- High Air Exchange: Ensures fast and efficient drying processes.
- Stainless Steel Interior: The chamber is made of 1.4301 (304) stainless steel, which is rust-resistant and easy to clean.
- Removable Grids: Includes multiple removable grids for charging in layers (see table for quantity).
- Robust Doors: Features large double-wing doors for models KTR 2300 and larger.
- RCF-Free Insulation: Nabertherm uses only high-quality, non-carcinogenic insulation materials.
- Venting System: An infinitely adjustable exhaust at the rear wall, which you can operate from the front.
- Standard Safety Feature: Includes an over-temperature limiter with an adjustable cutout temperature to protect the oven and load.
- Advanced Controller: Comes standard with the B500 controller (5 programs, 4 segments) with a clear touch-screen display.
- Data & Software: Includes NTLog Basic for USB data recording, plus freeware NTEdit (Excel) and NTGraph for PC, and the MyNabertherm App for mobile monitoring.
- Mobile Models: Models TR 800 and TR 1050 come standard with transport castors.
You can upgrade your Nabertherm KTR Chamber Oven to a fully customized process solution for your most demanding applications, including clean room production.
Available Options & Accessories:
- Heating Upgrade: You can order all models with an optional Tmax of 300 °C.
- Gas Firing: In addition, you can equip models with direct or indirect gas-firing instead of electrical heating.
- Advanced Cooling: An optional fan system provides for faster cooling, with manual or motorized control of the exhaust flaps.
- Advanced Control:
- Variable speed control for the air circulation fan (recommended for light or sensitive charges).
- Programmed opening and closing of exhaust air flaps.
- Process control and documentation via VCD software package or Nabertherm Control Center (NCC).
- Clean Room Design: We also offer a full upgrade package to meet the stringent quality requirements for clean room heat treatment processes.
- Chamber Modifications:
- A base frame for charging via a charging forklift.
- An additional door in the back for charging from both sides or for use as a pass-through lock.
- An observation window and furnace chamber lighting.
- Rotating systems (e.g., for tempering processes).
- AMS/FDA Compliance: Upgrades are available to meet the stringent quality requirements of AMS2750H or FDA.
