Ashing Furnaces with Integrated Exhaust Gas Cleaning up to 1100 °C
The Nabertherm Ashing Furnace L ../11 BO series is a “Made in Germany” solution for advanced ashing with high fume levels. It features 3-sided heating (sides + bottom), a steel collecting pan, and an **integrated catalytic post-combustion** system to clean exhaust gas. The advanced C550 controller is included as standard.
The Nabertherm Ashing Furnace L ../11 BO series is a highly specialized, “Made in Germany” solution for complex ashing processes, such as the thermal cleaning of injection molding tools, ashing of food samples, or any process where organic substances must be evaporated from the charge.
This furnace features an advanced passive safety system with integrated exhaust gas post combustion. An exhaust fan actively extracts fumes and supplies fresh air, which is **preheated through the bottom heating plate** to ensure good temperature uniformity. Exhaust gases are led from the furnace chamber to the integrated post-combustion system, where they are catalytically cleaned. This allows for a two-stage process: incineration up to 600 °C, followed by a subsequent process up to 1100 °C.
Standard Equipment:
- “Made in Germany” Quality: Engineered for advanced ashing and debinding applications.
- Dual-Temp Process: Tmax 600 °C for the incineration (ashing) process and Tmax 1100 °C for the subsequent process.
- Three-Side Heating: Heating from both sides and the bottom for excellent temperature uniformity.
- Protected Heating: Ceramic heating plates with fully embedded heating wire.
- Bottom Protection: Includes a durable steel collecting pan to protect the bottom insulation and heating.
- Advanced Venting: Inlet-air is preheated via the bottom plate; exhaust is monitored and catalytically cleaned.
- Integrated Post Combustion: A thermal/catalytic converter (functional up to 600 °C) with temperature control up to 850 °C.
- Advanced Controller: Comes standard with the powerful **C550 controller** (10 programs, 20 segments).
- Standard Safety Feature: Includes an over-temperature limiter with an adjustable cutout temperature to protect the furnace and load.
- RCF-Free Insulation: Exclusive use of insulation materials without categorization (non-carcinogenic).
- Robust Door: Spring-assisted flap door with a mechanical lock to prevent unintentional opening.
- Durable Housing: Dual-shell ventilated housing made of textured stainless steel sheets.
- Data Recording: Includes NTLog Basic for recording process data via a USB flash drive.
The L ../11 BO series ashing furnace is a complete, all-in-one system. Most advanced features, such as the C550 controller, over-temperature limiter, and integrated catalytic post-combustion, are included as standard equipment.
Available Options & Accessories:
- Process Control Software: Integrate your furnace with the powerful VCD software package for comprehensive, PC-based process control, monitoring, and documentation.
