High-Temperature Furnaces with MoSi₂ Heating Elements up to 1800 °C

Designed as compact tabletop models, these Nabertherm 1800C high-temperature furnaces offer a variety of advantages for advanced processes. The first-class “Made in Germany” workmanship, combined with ease of operation, makes these furnaces true all-rounders in research and the laboratory. Furthermore, these high-temperature furnaces are perfectly suited for the sintering of technical ceramics, such as zirconium oxide dental bridges.

These models use high-quality insulation materials (RCF-free) and a dual-shell housing with additional fan cooling. Consequently, they achieve very low surface temperatures. The furnace’s heating comes from durable Molybdenum Disilicide (MoSi₂) elements, which offer very good protection against chemical interaction with the charge.

Every LHT furnace includes a premium set of “Made in Germany” features:

• Max Temperature: Available in 1600 °C, 1750 °C, or 1800 °C versions. (Note: 1650 °C for D models).
• MoSi₂ Heating Elements: High-quality Molybdenum Disilicide heating elements provide excellent protection and long service life.
• Active Cooling: A dual-shell housing made of textured stainless steel with additional fan cooling ensures low surface temperatures.
• RCF-Free Insulation: Exclusive use of high-quality, non-carcinogenic insulation materials.
• Advanced Venting: Includes an adjustable air inlet opening and an exhaust air opening in the roof.
• Precision Control: High-quality Type B or Type S thermocouple.
• Advanced Controller: Comes standard with the powerful **P580 controller** (50 programs, 40 segments each).
• Quiet Operation: Uses solid-state relays for low-noise heating.
• Data Recording: Includes NTLog Basic for recording process data via a USB flash drive.

You can upgrade your Nabertherm LHT furnace with a range of optional accessories for process-specific tasks, including atmosphere control and multi-level charging.

• Over-Temperature Limiter: A critical safety feature (thermal protection class 2) with an adjustable cutout temperature to protect the furnace and your valuable load.
