Overview
Cometech Series L grips are the lowest-capacity grips in the Cometech range — designed for specimens so light and delicate that even the standard 200N minimum load cell grips would introduce excessive stiffness or clamping damage.
GR-L010 and GR-L020 both operate at just 10N capacity with 10N minimum load cell compatibility, making them ideal for thin ductile sheet, release paper, and plastic film applications where specimen gauge thickness is as low as 0.1mm.
GR-L030 Button Grip shifts to a completely different application — button and fastener bottom-pull testing at up to 300N, using a wire loop (Ø7–15mm) to hook through a button or ring specimen rather than clamping a flat specimen between jaws, at temperatures up to 200°C.
