- Series D grips are mechanical vice-action, miniature tensile, flat surface, and adjustable grips for tensile testing of fabric, textile webbing, rubber, plastic film, metal film, and paper — 10 grip groups covering 5 types with jaw face variants (serrated, rubber, wave) and 3 width options (76.2 / 50.8 / 25.4mm).

Overview
Cometech Series D grips are the most comprehensive grip family in the Cometech UTM accessory range, covering five distinct grip action types across 10 groups with multiple jaw face options and width variants for a total of over 20 individual sub-models.
The GR-D01 Vice Action series alone spans 9 sub-models (A through I) in three jaw face types — serrated, rubber, and wave — each available in 76.2mm, 50.8mm, and 25.4mm widths to suit narrow strips through wide specimens in fabric, textile, rubber, and plastic applications.
The series extends to higher-capacity miniature tensile (GR-D020, 5kN) and flat surface (GR-D030, 10kN) grips for paper and webbing, a single adjustable action grip (GR-D040) for thick belts, and the adjustable GR-D04 and GR-D05 dual-way vise families with wider thickness range for irregularly shaped or asymmetric specimens.
