Overview
Cometech Series C grips are precision flexure test fixtures designed for 3-point and 4-point bend testing of rigid materials including metal, wood, glass, and hard plastics, where a supported specimen is loaded at the center or between two points until failure or target deflection.
The three models provide different load capacities and span adjustability — GR-C010 for lighter-duty 3-point testing up to 10kN and 260mm span, GR-C020 for higher-capacity 3-point testing up to 20kN and 300mm span, and GR-C030 for 4-point testing up to 20kN with independent upper and lower span adjustment.
All models use roller-style supports and load points to minimize friction effects and ensure pure flexural loading, with temperature ratings up to 200°C for elevated-temperature testing applications.
