- Series B grips are specialized 200N-capacity grips for tape, adhesive, film, and peel testing — covering 8 models: small vice (GR-B010), wheel peel in three widths (GR-B020/B02A/B02B), 90° peel in two configurations (GR-B040/B050), T-tape adhesive (GR-B110), and rolling peel (GR-B140); all comply with ASTM D3330 or D3759 where applicable.
- Specimen thickness range across series: 0.01–3mm; all models rated −10 to +100°C (GR-B050/B110/B140: 0 to +100°C); max load cell minimum: 20N.
- Suitable for tape, pressure-sensitive labels, ductile circuit boards, hard circuit boards, plastic film, and adhesive specimens — the broadest peel and adhesion grip range in the Cometech UTM accessory lineup.
- Compatible with Cometech universal testing machines as standard UTM accessories for peel strength, peel angle, and adhesive bond testing.

Overview
Cometech Series B grips are purpose-designed for low-force peel, adhesion, and tape testing applications where specimen geometry and test angle are critical — covering 90° peel, T-peel, wheel peel, rolling peel, and basic vice-grip configurations in one coordinated series.
All 8 models are rated to 200N and share the same compatibility with a 20N minimum load cell, making them suitable for the full range of Cometech UTMs from the lightest tape and label testing setups up to standard film and circuit board peel characterization.
The three wheel peel variants (GR-B020 at 25.4mm, GR-B02A at 12.7mm, and GR-B02B at 75mm) address the most common standard wheel widths per ASTM D3330, while GR-B040 and GR-B050 cover 90° peel at narrow and wider jaw configurations for flat substrates.
