Overview
Cometech QC-PS Circular Sample Cutter is used to cut standardized circular specimens with an area of 100 cm² for unit-weight (grammage) or similar mass-per-area evaluations.
Because the specimen area is fixed, users can weigh the cut sample and calculate unit weight consistently, provided the balance has a minimum reading of 0.01 g.
It supports a wide range of sheet materials (textiles, films, foams, paper, thin boards), making it a practical sample-preparation tool for routine QC and lab testing.
