Overview

The Cometech QC-HR150A Manual Rockwell Hardness Tester applies a preliminary force of 10 kgf followed by a selectable major load of 60, 100, or 150 kgf to determine HRA, HRB, or HRC hardness values on a full range of metallic materials — from soft aluminum alloys and annealed steels up to carburized and surface-hardened tool steels.
The instrument body is cast from iron for rigid, vibration-free support, while a metal variable-load manual wheel and oil pump buffer ensure precise, controlled load application and long service life compared to plastic-bodied alternatives.
A dial display with 0.5 HR resolution and a built-in software correction function (±3.0 HR, 0.1 HR step) allow fast, accurate on-site calibration and reading without a PC connection.
