- Electronic LCD timer (99999.9 min) automatically stops and locks the time when the tape detaches from the steel plate; if tape does not detach within the set time, measure the displacement distance.

Overview
Cometech QC-801A Tape Holding Power Tester (Normal Type) measures the shear adhesion/holding power of pressure-sensitive adhesive tapes at room temperature.
The specimen is pressed onto a stainless steel plate using a standardized 2 kg roller, and then a 1 kg counterweight is suspended from the tape's lower end to apply a constant shear load.
The electronic timer runs automatically and locks the exact elapsed time when the tape detaches; if the tape holds beyond the test duration, the operator measures how far the tape has displaced on the plate.
With 10 test sets running simultaneously, the machine is designed for high-throughput QC and R&D tape testing.
