Overview
The Cometech QC-657B H.D.T. Heat Deflection Tester measures the temperature at which a specimen reaches a defined deflection under a specified flexural stress while the bath temperature increases at 2°C per minute.
The system uses a touch screen with a guided process to shorten setup time and reduce test errors, and it includes a built-in calculation function to determine required weights from entered specimen dimensions.
By changing the specimen holder, the tester can also support Vicat heat deflection (Vicat softening) testing mode.
