Overview

QC-639R/U is a computerized impact tester used to evaluate how polymer specimens absorb impact energy in a pendulum impact test.
It calculates absorbed energy based on the energy conversion relationship, and accuracy depends heavily on the pendulum hammer’s precision (impact speed and mass-center position).
The tester supports both Izod and Charpy methods by changing hammers and vises to match different ASTM/ISO test requirements.
