Cometech QC-311 (manual) and QC-312 (motor) Yarn Inspectors are used to wind yarn evenly onto a non-reflective black board so the user can visually evaluate yarn evenness, hairiness, neps, and impurities. For consistent grading, it is recommended to test at least 10 samples and calculate neps/impurity quantity to determine thread level. These models are suitable for cotton yarn, blended yarns, and pure chemical fiber yarns.
