Overview

Cometech QC-305 Spray Tester evaluates the surface water resistance (wetting resistance) of textile materials. The specimen is clamped at a 45-degree angle, water is sprayed onto the fabric surface using a defined volume and time, and the wetting appearance after spraying is compared against standard classification levels. This tester is commonly used for checking the performance consistency of waterproof and non-waterproof textile surfaces in production and quality labs.

Technical Specifications

Test method (spray procedure)

  • Clamp the textile specimen on the holder at a 45° angle.
