Description
The Melt Flow Rate (MFR) Tester (also known as a Melt Flow Indexer) by Azmoon Polymer Sepahan (APS) is a high-precision instrument. It is used to measure the melt mass-flow rate (MFR) and melt volume-flow rate (MVR) of thermoplastic polymers. As a result, this test is essential for quality control and material characterization.
Supplied by PTS Lab, this device is engineered for accuracy and ease of use. For instance, it features a 4.3-inch color touchscreen and a precision PID control system.
Key Features & Specifications:
- Precision Thermal Control: Features two thermal zones with separate heaters and K-type thermocouples. This provides exceptional temperature stabilization with a resolution of 0.1°C, up to 350°C.
- Automatic Cutting System: Equipped with an automatic cutting system for the extrudate. Furthermore, the cutting time can be adjusted with a precision of 0.01 seconds for highly repeatable results.
- Durable, Standardized Components: The standard die is made of highly durable tungsten carbide. The die, piston, and cylinder are all designed and manufactured in strict accordance with ISO 1133 standards.
- User-Friendly Operation: A 4.3-inch color touchscreen and PID control system ensure precise and user-friendly operation.
- Complete Accessory Kit: Force is applied via combined standard weights. The device also ships with all necessary accessories, including the piston, standard die, cleaning shaft, cleaning cloth, and a full set of weights.
- Integrated Safety & Storage: Includes a protective cover to prevent the dispersion of cut samples, in addition to a compartment to store additional accessories.
