The Bayerteq HPM Series Pressure Test Cabinets are precision-engineered laboratory testing systems designed to evaluate the hydrostatic strength, long-term durability, and burst resistance of thermoplastic pipes, fittings, and assemblies under internal water pressure.
Developed for pipe manufacturers, accredited testing institutes, and R&D laboratories, the HPM Series executes both long-term sustained hydrostatic pressure tests (evaluating creep rupture and time-to-failure) and short-term rapid pressurization tests leading to burst, in full accordance with ISO 1167, ASTM D1598, and ASTM D1599.
Core Modular Series Overview
- HPM–2B Series (Standard Multi-Station Testing): Modular pressure control cabinets configurable with up to 30 or 40 independent pressure stations. Available with maximum pressure ratings of 100 bar, 200 bar, or 300 bar, driven by high-efficiency Danfoss or AR pump stations (15 to 18 L/min) and Siemens industrial automation.
- HPM–XP Series (Ultra-High Pressure up to 1000 bar): Engineered for high-pressure industrial hoses, composite pipes, and aerospace tubing requiring extreme hydrostatic or burst pressure up to 300, 400, 600, or 1000 bar. Features heavy-duty AR high-pressure pumps, reinforced burst containment cabinets, and automated safety interlocks.
- HPM–VX Series (High-Volume Flow up to 100 L/min): Purpose-built for large-diameter infrastructure pipes (PE100, PVC) requiring high fluid volume for rapid filling and stable pressure regulation. Delivers adjustable flow rates from 20 to 100 liters per minute utilizing Danfoss Nessie high-volume pumps.

Advanced Mechanical & Automation Features
- Independent Station Pressure Control: Each test station operates autonomously with dedicated precision valves and Danfoss transmitters, allowing multiple pipe samples of different diameters and materials to run simultaneously without cross-interference.
- Continuous ±1% Pressure Stability: Proprietary in-house valve and accumulator manifolds eliminate pressure pulsations and hydraulic shock, maintaining smooth, continuous pressure strictly within ±1% of set points across thousands of test hours.
- Separate Heavy-Duty Pump Station: Independent pump console features Danfoss / AR pumps, 10-micron fine water filtration, pressure relief valves, and accumulators, isolating mechanical pump vibration from the precision measurement instruments.
- Integrated Hoop Stress Calculator: The control software automatically converts required material hoop stress (σ) into internal test pressure (p) using pipe diameter and minimum wall thickness per ISO 1167 formulas.
- Automated Burst Detection & Failure Logging: High-speed pressure monitoring detects instantaneous pressure drops upon pipe rupture, logs precise time-to-failure to the second, and automatically isolates the failed station while continuing other active tests.
Bayerteq BT Software Platform
Operated via a Siemens industrial PC and color touchscreen HMI, the BT Software streamlines testing protocols, ensures data integrity, and supports remote laboratory diagnostics.
Multi-channel real-time pressure-time curve plotting and automated station management interface.
