The Bayerteq Laboratory Forced Air Ovens (BT & WR Series) are specialized thermal testing systems engineered specifically for polymer research, pipe extrusion quality assurance, and certified testing laboratories. The product line addresses two critical test methodologies in the plastics piping sector: dimensional longitudinal reversion tests and elevated-temperature internal pressure tests.

Extruded thermoplastic pipes retain internal stresses from manufacturing. Exposure to elevated temperatures can cause irreversible axial shrinkage or elongation. Similarly, evaluating the long-term hydrostatic strength of high-performance polymers (such as PEX, PP-RCT, and PVDF) requires internal pressure testing at temperatures exceeding 100 °C—where conventional water baths cannot be operated due to boiling.

Core Series Overview

  • Bayerteq BT Series (Heat Reversion Ovens): High-uniformity forced air circulation ovens designed in full accordance with ISO 2505 and EN 743. Features precision PID temperature control from 50 °C to 200 °C, double-layer glass observation doors, and four chamber volumes (25L, 54L, 108L, and 212L).
  • Bayerteq BT WR Series (High-Temperature Pressure Testing Ovens): Purpose-built for testing plastic pipes under internal hydrostatic pressure at temperatures above 100 °C (up to 134 °C and beyond). Features a fully water-resistant stainless steel chamber, integrated burst-proof drainage floor, and top-mounted quick-connect pressure ports linked to stainless steel braided hoses.
