Overview
Cometech QC-643B Stiffness Tester is specifically designed for measuring the stiffness of small, thin, hair-like semi-rigid materials such as bristles, toothbrush filaments, and soft sheets.
The machine bends the specimen at a selected test length (1–50 mm) and test angle (1–90°) and measures the recoil force — the force the specimen exerts as it bends back — which defines the material's stiffness.
The operator selects the most suitable combination of test length and angle based on the specimen type to obtain the maximum force value from bending, and data can be transferred to a PC via the included software connection accessory.
