Overview
Cometech QC-607M/L Aging Oven is designed to run accelerated aging on vulcanized rubber specimens (commonly dumbbell-shaped), by exposing them to controlled high temperatures for a specified duration.
Typical aging conditions used in practice can include 70/100/120°C with times such as 24/48/96/168 hours (selected based on material and standard), then comparing tensile strength and elongation changes before and after aging.
This helps evaluate how rubber compounds and similar materials retain mechanical properties after heat exposure.
