Overview

Cometech QC-633 Manual Drop Dart Impact Tester evaluates plastic film impact resistance by dropping a selected dart from an adjusted height onto a clamped specimen.
The tester supports both Method A and Method B, using different impact head diameters depending on the selected method.
After a series of tests (commonly 20 specimens), the operator records broken and unbroken outcomes along with the associated dart weight and drop height to compare material performance.
