The Nabertherm K/KC Series are “Made in Germany” compact, tabletop **tilting furnaces** for melting non-ferrous metals. Available in 1000°C, 1300°C, or 1400°C models, they feature a gas damper tilting system for easy, precise pouring. Includes a clay-graphite crucible as standard.
The Nabertherm K/KC tilting furnaces are compact, “Made in Germany” furnaces designed for melting non-ferrous metals and alloys in a laboratory setting. In fact, these tabletop models have several technical advantages for applications like melting aluminum or copper. The practical, counter-balanced tilting system with gas dampers, combined with a pouring spout, makes exact dosing of the melt incredibly easy.
Furthermore, the furnace includes a high-quality clay-graphite crucible with an integrated pouring spout. The entire furnace is insulated with high-quality, RCF-free (non-carcinogenic) fiber insulation, and a hinged lid over the crucible opening reduces heat loss while heating up.
