







Rotary Tube Furnaces for Processes with Continuous Movement up to 1300 °C
The Nabertherm RSRC Rotary Tube Furnace is a “Made in Germany” solution for continuous processes. Featuring adjustable tilt and rotation speed, this split-type furnace (1100°C or 1300°C) is ideal for heat-treating materials in motion. Advanced options for H2 gas, vacuum, and automatic feeding are available.
The Nabertherm RSRC Rotary Tube Furnace is a highly flexible “Made in Germany” system designed for processes where batch material must be in **continuous motion** and heated for a short time. This furnace is ideal for advanced R&D and pilot-scale production.
Unlike a batch furnace, the RSRC is slightly inclined. The material is fed continuously into the top of the rotating tube, passes through the heated zone, and falls out at the lower end. The precise heat treatment time is controlled by three factors: the **tilting angle**, the **rotation speed**, and the **heated length** of the tube.
This model features a split-type housing for easy tube changes and is delivered as a compact, mobile system on a base frame with casters.

- Adjustable Tilt & Rotation: Manual spindle drive (crank) to set the tilting angle (with digital display) and an adjustable drive speed from approx. 0.5–20 rpm.
- Free-Radiating Heating: Heating elements on support tubes for long life and fast heat-up.

- Durable Housing: Dual-shell ventilated housing made of textured stainless steel.
- Advanced Controller: Standard B500 controller (5 programs, 4 segments) with a clear touch-screen display.
- Data Recording: Includes NTLog Basic for recording process data via a USB flash drive.
The Nabertherm RSRC furnace is a highly modular platform that can be upgraded for a wide range of advanced, fully automated processes, including operation under vacuum or specific gas atmospheres.
Available Options & Accessories:
- Automated Feeding System: A closed system for continuous material delivery (5 liters) under a defined atmosphere or vacuum. Includes a stainless steel funnel, electric vibration unit, and an electrically driven screw-conveyor (adjustable speed).
- Atmosphere Control Packages:
- Gas Supply Package 26: For operation with non-flammable process gases (requires feeding system).
- Gas Supply Package 4: For advanced applications using **Hydrogen (H2)** (requires feeding system).
- Vacuum Package: Allows for evacuating the working tube, achieving vacuums up to 10-2 mbar (depending on the pump).
- Process Control Upgrades:
- Three-Zone Control: Available for all models to significantly optimize temperature uniformity.
- Charge Control: Allows for temperature measurement directly within the working tube.
