The Nabertherm Weighing Furnace (SW Series) is an all-in-one “Made in Germany” system for determining combustion loss (Loss on Ignition). It combines a 1100°C or 1200°C furnace, a precision scale, and documentation software into one unit. Automatically records weight and temperature.
The Nabertherm Weighing Furnace (SW Series) is a complete, “Made in Germany” system designed specifically for the precise determination of combustion loss (Loss on Ignition). It is the perfect solution for analyzing sludges, household garbage, or performing quality control on polymers, rubber, and other materials where you must document weight loss during heating.
This advanced system integrates a high-precision scale with one of our reliable muffle furnaces. The included VCD software automatically records both the temperature and the weight change throughout the process. The “combustion loss” is the final difference between the starting mass and the combustion residue. This automated system saves time and prevents measurement errors from moving samples to a separate balance.

- Thermocouple Port: An optional port in the rear wall or furnace door for an independent thermocouple.

The Nabertherm Weighing Furnace system is based on the 9-liter L or LT (Lift Door) furnace chassis, available in 1100 °C or 1200 °C versions. You must then pair your furnace with one of the four available precision scale models. Please specify both the furnace and scale model when requesting a quote.
