Engineered for performance, the furnaces feature heating from two sides via robust ceramic heating plates. For larger models (L 24/11 and up), heating is provided from three sides to ensure optimal temperature uniformity. These integral heating elements are safeguarded from fumes and splashing and are easy to replace, guaranteeing a long service life.

Standard Equipment:

• “Made in Germany” Quality: Engineered and manufactured by Nabertherm in Lilienthal, Germany.
• High Tmax: Maximum temperature of 1100 °C or 1200 °C.
• Door Options: Available with a robust flap door (L models) that can be used as a work platform, or a space-saving lift door (LT models) with the hot surface facing away from the operator.
• Safety Insulation: Uses only high-quality, non-categorized fiber insulation (RCF-free), which is not classified as carcinogenic.
• High Performance: Achieves excellent temperature uniformity of +/– 5 K at temperatures above 800 °C.
• Advanced Controller: Standard B510 controller with a clear, color touch-screen, 5 programs, 4 segments, and USB interface. (Note: The L 1/12 model comes with the R7 controller).
• Durable Construction: Dual-shell housing made of textured stainless steel sheets, which provides high stability and low external surface temperatures.
• Precision Thermocouple: Uses a reliable Type N thermocouple (for 1100 °C models) or Type S thermocouple (for 1200 °C models).
• Venting System: Includes an adjustable air inlet in the door and an exhaust air outlet in the rear wall of the furnace.
• Quiet Operation: Uses solid-state relays for low-noise heating operations.
• Data Recording: Includes NTLog Basic for recording process data via a standard USB flash drive, enabling easy quality control and documentation.

Available Options & Accessories:

• Exhaust & Venting: Upgrade your ventilation with an exhaust chimney, a chimney with an integrated fan, or a catalytic converter for processing materials that produce strong odors or fumes. (Note: not available for L 1 models).
• Over-Temperature Limiter: A crucial safety feature for unattended operation. Provides a second, adjustable cutout temperature (thermal protection class 2) to protect the furnace and your valuable load.
• Protective Gas Connection: A connection in the rear wall for purging the furnace with non-flammable protective or reactive gases. (Note: This option is not gas-tight and cannot be combined with the chimney options).
• Gas Supply Systems: We offer complete manual or fully automatic gas supply and dosing systems.
• Observation Hole: An optional viewing port in the furnace door for observing the charge.
• Charging Racks: For models L(T) 9/11 and larger, multi-level charging racks with perforated trays are available to efficiently load multiple samples at once.
• Process Control Software: Integrate your furnace with the powerful VCD software package or Controltherm MV software for comprehensive, PC-based process control, monitoring, and documentation.
