- Series K grips are specialized low-force grips for small specimen and component testing — 7 models: GR-K010 zipper (500N, ASTM D2061), GR-K020/K02A spring hook (200N, Ø0.5–6mm), GR-K030 big narrow (500N, 25.4mm), GR-K03A large pinch (500N, 12.7mm), GR-K03B pinch (200N, 12mm), and GR-K040 hook (500N, 20mm, terminal connector pull test).
- Capacity range: 200N–500N; jaw face widths: 12–50mm; specimen thickness: 0.2–5mm; wire diameter: Ø0.5–Ø6mm; temperature range: −30 to +200°C (model dependent); min. load cell: 10–50N.

Overview
Cometech Series K grips cover a wide range of small component and low-force tensile test applications that require specialized jaw geometries beyond standard flat-face grips — from zipper slider pull testing (GR-K010) and coil spring hook testing (GR-K020/K02A), to narrow and pinch grips for thin ductile sheet specimens (GR-K030/K03A/K03B), and hook grips for terminal connector pull tests (GR-K040).
All seven models operate in the 200–500N capacity range with minimum load cells as low as 10N, making them compatible with the lightest Cometech UTM load cell configurations for precision low-force testing.
Temperature ratings span −30 to +200°C depending on model, with the zipper grip GR-K010 rated to −30°C and all spring hook and narrow/pinch grips rated to −10°C for ambient and temperature-controlled test environments.
