Overview

Cometech D1 Controller is a standalone digital controller designed for use with material testing machines including universal tensile testers, compression machines, and other servo-driven test equipment.
It supports a wide range of input signals (load cells, torque sensors, pressure sensors, encoders) and allows machines to operate in stand-alone mode using the built-in 7-inch TFT touch panel or in PC-connected mode via TCP/IP RJ45 interface for full software-driven analysis.
Test data is exportable via USB directly to Excel, and an optional dedicated D1 software package extends analysis and reporting capabilities.

Stand-Alone Mode Capabilities

  • Displays real-time Force, Stress, Torque, Displacement, and Time on the 7-inch color touch panel.
  • Graph display: Force, Displacement, Time.
  • Data analysis: maximum force, deformation % at max force point, stress at max force point, % elongation at max force point, force at break point, deformation % at break point, stress at break point, % elongation at specified break point, interval average load, max force, and more.
  • Metric and imperial unit switching.
  • Calibrated parameter setting available; load cell can be replaced without recalibration.

PC Mode (Optional Software)

  • TCP/IP two-way transmission via RJ45 — PC directly controls machine actions.
  • Import and display multiple test datasets simultaneously.
  • Flexible table for customized data analysis.
  • Export test data to Excel for further analysis.
  • Optional dedicated software required for full PC-mode access.
