Overview
QC-609A / QC-609B Discoloration Testers are used to check fading, discoloration, and yellowing resistance by exposing specimens to UV radiation (and, depending on model, controlled heating) inside a closed chamber.
QC-609A is the full-feature version with an oven and a rotating table, intended to simulate sunlight/UV exposure and high-temperature conditions that can occur during use or transportation.
QC-609B is a simplified UV exposure unit that uses two 15W UV tubes and a timer for basic UV-change evaluation.
