The Nabertherm L and LT series muffle furnaces are the “heavy-duty” workhorses for your laboratory. With a maximum temperature of 1300 °C, this Nabertherm 1300C Muffle Furnace is the perfect choice for more demanding applications like heat treating, sintering, or aggressive ashing processes that require robust construction.

Unlike standard fiber-insulated models, these furnaces feature a high-quality, multi-layer refractory brick insulation in the furnace chamber, with a special lightweight brick in the door. This “Made in Germany” design provides significant resistance to chemical and mechanical wear. Heating elements are mounted on ceramic support tubes, allowing them to radiate heat freely for optimal temperature uniformity and easy replacement.

The 1300 °C L and LT series furnaces are available in six distinct sizes, from a 3-liter bench-top model to a 40-liter production unit. Models 24L and 40L feature three-sided heating for enhanced temperature uniformity.

Heating time is to Tmax -100 K. Controller B510 is standard for all models.
